I do feel it has a place within DSC but am pleased we now have the option of opting out, and praise the team who made the decision to offer an opt out. A brave decision, but an appreciated one.

That'll be the oft maligned MT and webteam what did that.

I didn't read it that way either Ian,it would seem the Dsc MT doesn't care if has any members left in the regions.
Time to stop calling itself a national club then.

Yes for me - Been to three meetings, and really enjoyed the racing (both DD and other) and the paddock atmosphere.

Yes for me too, BUT, I do not want to hear about how good individuals believe themselves to be or otherwise. I do not want to read about self promotion etc. I just want to read an un-biased race report, which on many occasions I have had the chance to do so, just before me, me, me, gets posted.

Foggy was one of the best riders ever to climb on-board a Ducati? He produced excellent results? BUT, got so big headed he is almost an outcast in the paddock now and his memory has faded very quickly?

He still feels the need to promote himself and even slates other riders in the process, something any true sportsman would not do.

An unsung hero is often respected more and remembered longer after one who shouts it from the rooftops at every and any opportunity?

My thoughts:

It's the IDGAS option for me!

Although I've been to a couple of meetings and enjoyed it.

Just seems a bit of a black hole, sucking everything else in.

The modification to the Today's Posts thing is a good idea.
