Ah well..........urm.........Wasn,t sure it was broken and desperate to take advantage of my qualifying performance so thought i,d give it a go.Felt alright on the warm up lap as well until i turned left! Went to the hospital on the Tuesday but walked out when they said that i couldn,t drive home in plaster.Got a lift down the next day and they were not to happy especially when i said i needed fixed for Oulton in 3weeks time!!!! Funny thing is the healing has been far more painful/annoying than the break and its stil not perfect in October due to stiffness. Anyway Nick who! lol |
One for me on the road on the way to work. low speed off 5mph when car pulled out in front of me. No damage to me or bike till Transit van following hit me. Now in wheel chair (Pelvis in kit form) till end of November. Hope to be back on a bike February. Just beware out there. It don't matter how well you ride there is always some arse that will come along and stuff you. Mike |
I'm impressed with Andy's pic - looks like he's still trying to save it! Top show fella!! |
Just the four for me; :o 1. Jerez in Feb - lost the front in the wet at Angel Nieto 2. Cadwell in March - lost the front in the cold at Mansfield!!! 3. Oulton in Aug - lost the front at Mcleans, trying to go under a Gixxer. 4. Cadwell in Sep - lost the front on the grass at Charlies 2!!! Bloody front!! All crashed in practice though - no DNF in DD. Tim Practice your wheelies, you'll be much safer! :D |

Now I have crashed pulling wheelies and even got arrested for it!!! On a 350LC - many moons ago. That's why I'm **** over the mountain at Cadders!! Tim |
I'm ****-scared over the Mountain, too! Wheelies ain't my thing. :) |

That's soooooooooo koolio !!!!! I've lost count of my crashes but NEVER been caught on camera! gutted. it would almost be worth it! After each one I scan through all the photo sites but they've never captured it. closest i got was my avtar - not really a hero shot !!! |
First time out this year at cadwell to see what my DD bike was going to be like for next year! lost the front in the wet at the hairpin in the woodland section!! |
Dropped my Gilera Saturno at the chicaine at Almeria at Easter-washed out the front-cold(ish) tyre-prat. Mind you it later got it's own back by trashing the cambelt when the waterpump seized-4 bent valves............... John |
