I'll be after the one on eBay too, so that's the price through the roof then!

This could get very silly!! We'd be better working together to keep the prices down!! Lets take it in turns,as i'm already bidding on this one, leave it to me!! As other ones come along(as they always do),we'll take it in turns!!
Just a suggestion,if we're not careful the models will cost us all way too much money!!

Twinfan 21-Apr-2005 11:45

Sounds fair enough I guess. I'm still holding out for a cheapie, so you guys with deep pockets can go first!

baylissboy 21-Apr-2005 13:56

Thanks Twinfan!! Let's see how we go on!!:D

Twinfan 21-Apr-2005 14:17

Best of luck!

adam 21-Apr-2005 15:57

sounds like the Reynolds 2000 i located is true, and 83 euros. What a result.

Twinfan 21-Apr-2005 16:03

You jammy bar steward! That's a bargain and a half! How did you find it?

adam 21-Apr-2005 16:10

I just sent off emails to various places and hey presto one came up trumps.
Coming from Australia. They havent got Bayliss,Hodgson,Bostrom,Corser.

Mr_S 21-Apr-2005 16:22

Baylissboy I've put you in the second refusal spot after adam.

I suppose to be fair as well, I'll give Twinfan the second refusal spot if you win the ebay one, or third refusal if you don't

Twinfan 21-Apr-2005 16:30

Cheers Mr_S. If only you'd got 4 or 5 eh? You'd be minted!

antonye 21-Apr-2005 17:52

What's the code for the rare Corser bike? Is it 062991201 ?

adam 21-Apr-2005 17:54

antonye, have you got one by any chance? if so sell it to meeeee.

antonye 21-Apr-2005 17:57

'Fraid not Antony. That's the 1:6 scale version of the 1999 Corser bike. It's due for release in June :)

adam 21-Apr-2005 18:09

False alarm, shame on you antonye:P

Twinfan 21-Apr-2005 18:15

Model number for the 1999 1:12 Corser is 122991201

adam 21-Apr-2005 18:33

TF how much would you spend on a Corser if one came up? How bad would you want it? are you going for the Hodgy on ebay or leaving it for Baylissboy? Just bought a hodgson 2001 £40. not sure if that is an ok price?

TP 21-Apr-2005 18:36

Can you please move this thread to the anoraks forum please?

:frog:

I don't collect these things but Ange just got me a Bayliss 'sedici which I'm pretty happy with.

Can I hang out with you lot now? :)

adam 21-Apr-2005 18:43

only if you go out and locate a Troy Corser 1999 and sell it to me, you can then be President of our club.;)

TP 21-Apr-2005 18:46

:)

I'll give him a ring shall I?

I've just checked my models actually, I don't think I'll even be allowed IN your club - they are both New Ray!

Both 1:6 - A monoposto 998 and a Bayliss 'sedici

I'll get ma coat ...

JPM 21-Apr-2005 18:47

I'm only after the BSB bikes, so I wouldn't be interested in a 1999 Corser if one came up. I reckon if you can get one for under £400 you've done well.

I'm leaving the Hodgy on eBay for Baylissboy as promised. I'm expecting you and him to help me out once you've got yours though!

A 2001 Hodgson for £40 is pretty much the going rate. There's plenty of them about.

adam 21-Apr-2005 19:11

£200 already, could be quite a shock in 3 days time. BB might have to empty his piggy bank to get this one.

Twinfan 21-Apr-2005 19:15

I just noticed that too! Crazy...

Do you know why the black NCR Chili bike from 2002 is always braned as the Imola bike?? I thouhgt he rode for NCR all season with that bike?

adam 21-Apr-2005 19:33

now theres a puzzler, dont know myself, hopefully someone will know.

was it a black bike through out the whole season?

Twinfan 21-Apr-2005 19:47

I thought so...

adam 21-Apr-2005 19:58

cant find anything special on the net. someone must know.

baylissboy 22-Apr-2005 09:41

Hi guys,i'm still hanging in there, but it's up to £200 so i'm getting a little sweaty!!

I don't know how much i would go for a Corser 99 if one came up,you'd have to cross that bridge when you came to it!!

PS,can we start a new thread,my computer is an old piece of junk & it takes forever to open this one!!

Steve M 22-Apr-2005 09:52

you'll all be doing swapsies soon;)

Twinfan 22-Apr-2005 10:08

Just like school days eh?

deej 23-Apr-2005 01:29

£500 quid for a corser is silly money

the ncr was the first chili model and thats why its so popular, maybe the imola one has a special appeal to it, different graphics or 200 race, justa few suggestions

im glad im not the only one out here collecting these models

adam 23-Apr-2005 09:26

Trouble is deej if you want to complete a collection then you may well have to pay silly/crazy money for one. Although it depends on how long you are prepared to wait to see if a cheaper one comes along.

deej 23-Apr-2005 20:26

my main collection is the rossi which i have a model from every year ( may expand to every model now ) which also includes kr jr so i have all the motogp winners and bsb title winners bikes which i have all of them so far

it wasnt worth collecting the wsb winners as minichamps havent produced a sp2 for the colin edwards years

to complete the full rossi set i need a 2001 gp bike, the 2003 repsol, ( valencias already on order) and a gauloises blue 04 and 05 models

adam u2u me your contacts if possible, im interested in saving a bit of money on these if possible

cheers

adam 23-Apr-2005 21:07

I would love to see an Edwards come out, that was a very nice bike.
deej i now have all the Rossi bikes, with his 125/250 and Valencia on order.
They do make a great collection.

You want my contacts? are you serious? only kidding, I have bought nearly all mine off ebay deej, i have found a place in Australia where i am getting my 2000 reynolds, £60 delivered. I will u2u the details.
