Not fitted the rear calliper hanger yet then? Whats with the oversike chicken strip in the last pic?
Looking good otherwise.

doogalman 09-Aug-2006 11:57

Thought you may have blanked the number plate out.

UKRR 16-Aug-2006 11:59

Does the DP carbon number plate holder come with fitting instructions....how do you fit the light ?

fits the same as original one, you don't need to remove the rear light and I fitted a motrax led number plate light

Mate, i never realised you were struggling. Say when if needed. I'm tempted by the tyres.

Spare bits paintwork - latest

5 Attachment(s)
front 04 carbon fairing with numberboard painted on, front carbon mudguard and carbon mirror cowels nearly ready, just some final polishing to be done.

Jason took the original paint on the top wings of the nosecone back to bare carbon and then faded into white numberboard - looks good !

outer stripes on front mudguard & returns on edges are bare laquered carbon also, along with mirrors having the return slope to the fairing in red and the rest bare laquered carbon

Carbon seat done too

will post better pics when fitted

Something not right, as I believe the 05 wide fairing only has the inlets for the airbox, not the two vents to nowhere???? confused.

Chris:burn:

you are correct with the standard plastic fairings, 03/04 (with vents) is narrower than 05/06 (without vents) so longer 'ears' needed to fit later top

just need to fit the screen, if I can find the bloody tool I had for those pesky bolts !

and put the r/h side fairing back on

slight problem with one of the carbon mirror cowels being a cr*p shape ! GGRRRRRR ! so no go on them yet

G

Rattler 19-Sep-2006 23:43

A labour of love - nice work fella

iang 19-Sep-2006 23:46

Graeme, did you try the new shape 06 fairing to see if it would fit while it was in bits ?

The painted one looks very nice.

Whats happened with the new mirrors

You not got your discs on yet ?
