ok boys here you go - and mine is a 2 valver - M1000Sie annual service (1st year) for 6000 miles includes: Replace Plugs, air filter, fuel filter, oil filter & oil. Clean fuel tank check carbs (balance injectors), belts, cyl compression, throttle body, wheel hub bearings, play in steering head bearings, valve clearance, rear wheel cush drive, brake pads wear, tyre wear & pressure. Remember, if you do not keep to the correct servicing intervals, Ducati will not honour any problems that arise from this. Belts are changes & shims checked & adjusted if required at 12,000 miles/2 years - more expensive service. Am being charged £250 (this does not include oil & filter as done during warranty work last month, not does it include spark plugs, as AK is supplying them) I thought this was a lot, compared to the first annual on the M750 - but having called 3 dealers & 2 independants its about right. It is about £100 - £150 less than is charged by a southern Ducati store tho. your faired bikes will cost more as fairings need to come off - this is what takes the time! Am sure nelly will be along to talk more. C:) [Edited on 4-1-2005 by CK and AK] |
