First bike BSA 175 bantam Hornchurch car adome all day every day petrol 50p a gallon
First road bike B Line fizz 74mph A127 rebuilding again this week lad
First off road bike CR125 Honda now that’s what I call a power band, or I thought it was till I got the
Maddest 2 stroke off road Yamaha air cooled YZ 400 C, still got the scares on me elbows form flipping that bas***d, then started to race it, O what fun.
Raced AMCA till the late 1980s

In 1989 I went back to road bikes with a GSXR 750K Vance and Hinds pipe, engine tuned by SST, dragons, mad Sunday now were talking, Track days steering dapper recommend from now on.

1993 Blade yoshi pipe, engine tuned SST, just gone supersonic. I loved that bike it would show
170mph on revit strait, and made a mockery of fox eyes and every thing else over the next few years

The first model R 1, I took to SST, and things just got out off hand now, I just can’t keep up with this bike, its just plain scary, 168 bhp on the RRT dyno, so I don’t need a new 1000 jap bike !

I have been very lucky on bikes but not so lucky racing windsurfers and ended up with my leg in plaster for the best part of Two years, Two smashed disks, a dislocated shoulder, crack ribs, broken ankles. 42Knots best recorded speed, was it worth it ? Foo**in right it was.

Anyway I packed all that dangerous stuff up and came back to bikes.
Doing it on a duke now and am really enjoying riding it so far, looking forward to a long warm summer meeting some of you lot,not getting nicked and having a blast on some of our best tracks.

New ground braking Model bikes are better because they are designed to capture markets, not just to maintain their market share. 916 996 998 ten years, fire blade ten years, R1 ten years? But to be honest any bike is fun even its because its so bad it makes you laugh. Rally Wisp

The bike now Honda 600 RR with a pipe and tune, sweet, sweet, sweet, handling fun, I was back at school in the girls bike sheds. If you haven’t ridden one of these bikes just treat your self to a test ride and tell me I am wrong. Lester Harrises road bike was the repsol one on his stand at ally pally, guess what he likes his to.

Got you all thinking now:sing:

Rocker is by far th ewinner so far.....

BTW I'm 47, with 20 bikes over 31 years, so a poor average by some standards.

What were your best bikes ( apart from your most recent of course) Mine was the The VFR750 fantastic bike, great build quality, plenty of performance, and looks....graet. My VF1000R was also a great ride, sound, speed, looks, only let down by an inadequate frame, how did they race these?

Not forgetting my first bike SS50 in red, thought I was so cool, flat out everywhere, max about 45mph, but it was like a grown up bike i.e. 4 stroke. All my mates had 2 strokes, which all self destructed in time. Love those days. :burn:
