Still amazed that you had a spare with you and that I was out on track a bit later. Still grateful to you and Paul for your help! Wish I could track down who it was who gave me brake lever peg to replace the one I ground away! |

We were doing fine til all them overseaers came........ |
If I can add my two pennys worth. I had a STM evo std clutch didn't like it from the off. Looked cool but the action was not smooth and started to slip after only a 100miles or so. On inspection I noticed that the pressure plates had scratched up quite badly. This in my opinon was due to the fierce action and the sintered bronze friction material used. Rattler also had oneon hi 996sps. This also slipped and I don't think he ever got it sorted. Sayng that I had a go on Rattlers 996R which had a stm evo slipper fitted, and that was fine. My choice is the bucci slipper wth carbon plates. I know forsure that If my clutch goes pear shaped, I only need a std set of plates to get me going. Has for wear on the basket, yes the 48 tooth is superior, but if you have matched ergal, you don't have a problem [Edited on 16-2-2005 by Jon] |

Well Krige has retired .... We're only two points ahead of the Saints, I figured that the Stoop is just around the corner so I picked the multi-coloured ones to support .. wish they'd lift their game though :( Sorry Jon, I'm not sure you're allowed to post a slipper opinion without first revealing which rugby club you support! |
I have him down as a footballer........ :lol::frog: |
