As I am about to take the original engine out of my 1996 600SS to replace it with a standard 600 monster engine and my intention was to consider fitting a big bore kit to what will be my spare motor for use in the future (maybe next year), I was wondering if anybody wanted to do an exchange. Bear in mind that when I got my bike I found the front piston was around the wrong way and this may apply to the rear one as well and it also had a few oil leaks but it is a runner. Upto you it may help somebody out. Kev Racing a 583cc bike |
Boys & Girls I am now waiting on a phone call from Ducati in the morning to confirm one last piece of information, but it looks as if we have the problem licked now. So fingers crossed all will be well again tomorrow. Chris |
Fingers crossed then ! |
Ok folks, time to uncross the fingers, we have a solution and it is not going to cost an arm and a leg! I will put out an e-mail to all entrants in the next 10 minutes advising what needs to be done and the costs. Please get back in touch ASAP so that we can get it all done as one batch. Chris |
I'll have one :D |
Tony, Dont be a muppet, it wont work with your 620! |

I'm afraid he was born that way. Doctors tried, but failed, to surgically remove the Muppet from him. Senior gene researchers are hoping to use retroactive gene therapy on his kids in the hope that this awful, and hugely embarassing, affliction won't ruin their lives too..... |
ok, got the email - but blimey - its a bit more than I was hoping for ££'s wise:o will speak to AK tonight - & confirm if we can afford to go this route C |
