Your right not mega amounts more I just think looking at Geoff in the same place he is carrying more speed and it would be a place for TP to look for some time. Not just to get his knee down. Looking at TP's pic and the fact you could only slip a Rizla in between his slider and the track it is only a mater of time before he will hit down. its more the lean angle that I could see in the pic's |
I judge lean angle by looking at the wheel in relation to the ground. Knee's don't tell the story because everyone's body position is different. It's my body position that needs a lot of work. Ant, those excuses aren't going to help you stay ahead in the championship buddy ;) |

I looked at all the pic 's of the ridders at that point and I look at the handle bar end for the lean you could get your ass off a bit more but look at all the pics coz you can over do it :lol::lol: |

I'll get me coat. Sorry, working fine now. |
I don't get my knee down very often. I've done it four times now and, yes, two of those times my arse and elbow followed 'cos I'd lobbed it. The other two times were the merest graze around that 90 degree right hander at the bottom of the dip round the back of Rockingham national. The first time it happened I thought "Jeez...what was that" and sat the bike up again. My mate KeefyB told me a story about an aquaintance of his who said "I don't get my knee down, but I go past plenty of people who do" I like to think that applies to me as well. With laps in the 50's I think that applies to you as well. If I was you I wouldn't force it. After a few races, you'll just be going that little bit faster, carrying just a little more lean angle or hanging off an inch more and it will happen. |
