from the article in Racer

"if you don't love riding around Cadwell then maybe you're not functioning fully upstairs".

;)

Don't forget that a load of improvements were made over the off season to increase run-off in lots of areas, especially woodlands.

I tested the run off at the bottom of the mountain and can certainly say it worked a treat :D

I forgot to say thanks for that.

Oh and thanks for testing the runoff out of Camp corner at Castle Combe too.

Interesting that you went down at Camp corner ....

Yes, very funny.

It wasn't my fault that Dickie didn't know which way the throttle went...

Narrow, challenging, technical, scary and nice scenery to look at as you go round.

Up to it I hope so role on the 25th

I have spoken to a few others who won't ride cadwell for various reasons.

So what, thats their choice.

There are more important things in life than riding round and round in circles.

No run off, very narrow, dire facilities to name but three reasons Henry, when you've been spoilt with Silverstone, Brands, Donny, Oulton, Rockingham etc etc...

Are you saying that the challenge of riding Cadwell is too much for you then? Or that conditions have to be spot on before you'll ride a circuit? :puzzled::puzzled::puzzled:

You're missing out JPM, Cadwell is superb.

I'd hate to have seen it last year then.

I was there at the end of June, and my driveway's bigger than the runoff around the hairpin etc...

Cadwell is one of those circuits that sound scary before you have ever been there, but once you have ridden there, it can be a very satisfying experience. Granted the facilities are poor compared to a lot of circuits, but they are improving all the time. The track IS narrow - but then a racing line is really only a tyre's width in any case! There is run-off now - just not much.

IMHO Cadwell should be on everyone's "must do" list. If after having been there you still don't like it, fair enough at least you tried. I personally can't get my head round Donington, but at least I tried.

Go on, gerrit booked. You know it makes sense........
