Do you lot prep your bikes then :puzzled: My steed seems to magically get itself ready for race days. It would seem that Little Beastie has even managed to shake off all that gravel strategically place in every orifice by Mr Payne at Brands... she's even managed to clear the gravel from INSIDE the wheels! It's looking a bit shot-blasted tho... there goes the 'best presented bike' award :( |
Preparation????:o Since the DH memorial evening, Mrs Snot has had gravel hoovered out of every orifice, including the front piston, the broken seat pod had been liberally stuck back together, so it is no longer in 3 bits. The other broken bits have been replaced, AK has rubbed back the pebble attacked panels & re-painted them - and also the seat pod (but dont look too closely please:lol: ) The bellypan has also been repaired & is now re-fixed. All we need to do now, is shoot her down to MHP tomorrow nite & check all is working properly by giving her a spin on the dyno. Then oad up the snot & her mate & get to Brands on Sat eve.....:) there must be something else tho for Al to do.....oh yes, he's gorn shopping again tonight (or rather 'swapping bits' in exchange for other bits) Now, why wont Mr Sainsbury barter his food for spare Ducati parts?:puzzled: C:( |

I have a tank and some fairings to complete the "Max Payne" look if you wish? :D |
Mine's ready - it's been sat quietly in the garage since Donington (where it wasn't ridden very hard) Oh, I have got to put some fuel in it - probably. ...something is bound to go wrong (again) now :( |
I'm still finding chicken's gravel ! Took the rear wheel out to change the sprocket, and there was even some inside the swinging arm  |
Oy! that's "go-faster" gravel, that is. You need to leave some of it in to distribute the weight to the outside circumference to assist the engine braking...... |
