Why though? Is the A class harder? Is the A class winner a better rider/racer than the B class winner? I think this has proven to be something that cannot be agreed upon, and as it doesn't appear to affect anything, maybe it should be looked at again? Afterall, this is just the 2nd draft of the rules for 2006. Maybe just having 1 champion for each class is enough. How about a race off? :D |

+1. No idea of how it works at Club level, but Rossi isn't the current "125 250 MotoGP" champion... |
i think its a great idea class champion and an overall champion on total points.!... cant see how any of this de-values the series.?.............. |
Now....my two-penneth.... What if someone were to ride in BOTH classes, do moderately well and came, say, seventh and eighth in each class, and their COMBINED points gave them the biggest total....HEY PRESTO...an "average" rider picks up the overall champ trophy!!!!!! Two championships, two champs, no overall title please. Andy #99 . |
now you're just being pedantic! let them take their highest score from either series. simple. |

easy aint it really................:D |
Boys, I wonder sometimes what you lot would do if there wasn't a bit of an argument going on here! Ok as someone has said up near the top, there have to be Class Champions at the end of the year, so we do that regardless. As to a cup to the person who is the highest points scorer regardless of Class (You can only count points from one class), quite frankly we thought that it was a nice thing to do, as some one said "Club Champion". However as I said in the covering note, these are still draft and if the majority of entrants disagree then it can be taken out. |
