Superb thread!! The 70's, a guaranteed ice breaker in the coldest of conversations. The sweets of the decade was a topic on it's own.when a snickers was a marathon and when a bounty had a cardboard tray. What happend to the red dark chocolate 1?. Proper ring pulls on tins of pop, that you could flick at people. Good stuff |
Mmmmm Mojo's I loved them I did. Just remembered BIG pennies, Pound Notes and threpenny bits I used to have in a big yellow bunny money box. [Edited on 31-1-2006 by phoenix n max] |
Who had one of these beauties? http://users.rcn.com/ed.ma.ultranet/dr6.jpeg The best weapon against mardy sisters! |
Didn't have one of those but i did have a spud gun! And we used to make pea shooters out of biros and bits of chewed up paper. Used to make airfix model tanks and shoot them with the airgun. I used to fill the planes with lighter fluid and then set fire to it to make it look like they had crashed. Didn't work, just end up with a lump of melted goo! |
Spud guns! Went to bed last night thinking about all things from 1970s and remembered running round the back street with a potato in one hand and my spud gun in the other. Still got it somewhere I thinks its called a 'Spudomatic' or something similar. |
the price of mark 111 cortina's is going to rocket thru the roof - just watch E-bay! glad it's not a Capri. |
Nuts i missed it I bloody well missed last nights instalment bugger!! Has anyone taped them and going to put them on disc, for those that have poor admin and personal planning? Yorkie. |
