Yes, AND proud of it. Not that the Scotland team will do any good this year :( |
Rugby :- A thugs game played by gentlemen Football :- A gentlemans game played by thugs. Just for the record, I've got the emotional baggage known as Wolverhampton Wanderers around my neck. That's enough to make anybody follow other sports.:flame: |

Aarrrgggghhhhhhhhh. I've been following Everton since 1965 and also enthusiastically supporting my local team (Reading) since I moved here in 1985. Ive been from Anfield & St James Park to St Mary's & Ninian Park - the length and breadth of England supporting these two fine teams - I've even been to places like Ibrox, Celtic Park and Pittodrie to sample the sweaty roar whilst working in Scotland. On 99% of my travels I never suffered any harassment from the home supporters - the odd stupidity maybe .... ... however, the worst experience I ever encountered was at that sh*th0le known as Molineux a couple of years ago when Reading played their first leg for the play-offs there. We were truly treated like shite, spat on, p!ssed on you name it ... from so called football supporters above is in the stand. I'll never go there again - whatever reason!! I've been to Millwall several times - New and Old Den and been treated like royalty there in comparison  Sorry always wanted to sound off to a Wolves fan about that. I did write to Wolverhampton Wanderers to complain after that game but ... you've guessed it ... never got a reply :( [Edited on 2-2-2006 by everton] |

OK .. fair does .. lets leave it at that - I'll take you thrashing me round a track and Scotland losing at everything else :D |
Oh dear, I knew someone would take offence. Sorry to hear about your last trip to molineux. But you won't have to do it next season! Good luck to Reading, they have done superb this season and deserve promotion. Wolves are to play at Reading 18/03/06. My son is in school near there, so I may go. Do you fancy it? I promise not to spit in your general direction.( only when I talk anyway) |
Teddy1 - let me know if you're serious about going as I may not and I'd be happy for you to use my season ticket - it'd be a laugh putting an away supporter in with some of the brain dead loons that sit near me - don't worry you'd be perfectly safe. England play Ireland that day at Twickenham - wish it was on Sunday :( - but due to the unacceptable demands of TV the England game kicks off at 17:30 - great eh!! |
![]() Bring it on! |
Everton, thank you for the kind offer. But I'd need two seats, my son as well. Thank you anyway. I'd rather be at Twickers, but tickets are like rocking horse poo! |

Keep in touch about this though - how old is your son. A friend of mine has two season tickets, one adult, one under 16 (although that doesn't really matter as you can upgrade on the day). They're in the east stand corner (you get a great view everywhere in the Mad Stad) and he only goes to 1 out of 2 games so they may be free especially if he goes to Twickenham that day also. |
My son is 12. I'd be very interested, let me know. Cheers. Just as long as I don't get spat on and chased. How ironic would that be! |
