We can argue about this all day long til we're blue in the face but, the only view that matters would be that of the law and the law will see:

Wheelies: offence
White lines: offence
Undertaking in a bus lan: offence
Speeding: offence
Overtalking round a corner without a clear view ahead: offence
Stoppies: offence
Red light: offence

That would get the rider banned without a doubt.

I'm with twpd with his comments. I am not a killjoy but theres a time and a place etc. Seeing someone wheelying through a town centre just winds me up. Its the same as those cretins that I come across that go flying through the 30 and 40 limits in my neck of the woods. They come through at well over the limit making a load of noise and winding the locals up. Then sure enough out of the town on the open road you end up catching em up and passing them coz they cant ride that well. For sure in the past I used to hoon around with a group that pretty much rode like you see in that video but would never behave like that in the towns etc. I stopped doing it a number of years ago after one funeral to many. Things do go wrong even if you are not riding like that but you are lucky if you get away with those kind of actions for long. I've lost count at the amount of times I have witnessed mates bin their bikes through one wheelie too long and too high. Its scary enough on a deserted road in the middle of nowhere but the thought of someone getting it wrong in a town centre at 50 or 60 mph or more while perhaps your wife and kids are stood waiting to cross the road does not bear thinking about.

Apart from the in town stuff, ive done most of what was seen at one time, and will probably do it again!

My knee only comes out when its needed/wanted on tarmac contact!

If your measuring speed/wheelying on the road i've done far, far worse, they are not riding quick by any means.
Just looks reckless by wheelying in built up areas and poor undertaking and overtaking, anyone can do that.
What i dont do is nail it through built up areas (including wheelies) there is absolutely no point! You probably wont get caught but your plate will get noted and you will get a visit from the plod! i slow down to whatever the speed limits is going through villages that are on any route that i ride 95% of the time.
I do treat a lot of my rides as 'maxing it out' but i'm careful as to where and when. e.g. week night, early evening on a country road that you might come across a handful of other road users in 20 odd miles.
A lot of consideration is taken as to the possiblity of any police activity and we change routes frequently as a result.
I ride with a small group of guys who know the score, we tend to avoid normal bike meeting up places as we just want to ride open country roads without any aggro.
