90 miles today , 748r with 50mm termi's. |
Or more to the point, how many miles do you get once the light comes on, managed 28 on my old yamaha, how does that compare to the ducati? |
'Bout the same. I'd allow for 25 miles. I've done over 30 once or twice, but that's really pushing it... Plus, y'know, it's not really a good thing to use the very last drop of fuel in your tank; it increases the risk of crud (or water) from the bottom of the tank getting into your rinjectors. Seeing as it has stopped raining... I just finally emptied a tank - 140 miles as the light came on :) |
just been out, light on at 140 miles |
The less the better!!! I just keep pouring it in. It's the main vice in my life. If the worlds oil is going to run out , i want to die knowing i had my fair share. |
Once upon a time, in the darkest, deep night in torrential rain in the middle of nowhere in France on the way to the Bol, I managed 47 miles on my 748SP with the fuel warning light on. I can tell you I was worried and doubly relieved to when I came across an open fuel station on the autoroute. |
only got to 116 miles before the light came on today.. 748 with termis Simon |
