Boozy night on Friday got home at 2.30am, stayed in bed until 11.00am. Got up for a spew. Back till bed until 12.30pm when the wife got home from work. Had another spew and the ate a baked potato. When back to bed for a couple of hours and watched some tv.

Out on Saturday night for the first meeting of the Invercargill Whiskey Appreciation Society started drinking at 7.30pm. Appreciation turned in abuse and our president was the first man down. Had to call him a cab home around 11.30am. Left for home around 1.00am. Got home after a hell of a long stagger. Apparantly spewed in the kitchen sink and passed out about 2.00am. The wife said I hic-upped for about half an hour before snoring commenced. Today has been a bit slow up at 12.00pm and sod all today.

Brilliant weekend really

I spent the morning teaching the girl how to ride a motorcycle - on my DD 583! Up and down the driveway, then up and down the street. Guess what? No crashes. Now she's sure she wants to do her CBT and doesn't want a scooter but rather a "real" bike.

Then I watched MotoGP Qualifying. Wrote an article for my website. Went to Wagamammas for a late lunch (2 for 1 deal), went to HMV to buy a couple of DVDs, came home and watched them.

Relaxing Saturday.

That's great news, another convert :)

I've just gotten back after watching Ynes sing in her choir, I've cooked them all bacon, eggs and garlic mushrooms for breaky earlier and now I'm watching the 250 race ...

Ooops, today's Sunday! Hehe

I spent the day working, then came home and shredded the tyres on a new M6 messing around with Launch Control. :o :o :o

I'm sure there's probably better things to do with your time, but leaving 100m long thick black stripes up the road while trying to put 500bhp through two wheels has to right up there. :D

Thank god it a rental!

Got up, went to a famers market with the boss & bought some wicked garlic & rosemary sausages, went home, cooked said sausages and made a some sarni`s..............excelent they were to.

Tinkered with the Jota but couldn`t take it for a thrash as I`d run out of leaded fuel, must get some on Monday, looked at the 998s and wonderded when I would get my seat and side panels back from ProTwins.

Spent the rest of the day working in the garden then cooked dinner and enjoyed a couple of bottles of white Cote Du Rhone wine sitting in the garden till 22:30 hrs.

A good day really.

Saturday 14th Oct
Removed Aprilia RSV discs from my 996 front wheel and popped over to Fox's with them, met Chippy for a cuppa and swapped the RSV discs for his EBC ones that didn't want to fit his RSV. Then back home to watch quallifying.
Changed kmh speedo on my 600 Monster for a mph one, while doing this Dallas popped around with a Tacho in his hand, it would not work on the 996SPS he is putting together. So it was time to whip the fairing off my 996 and plug it into my loom. It worked fine better than the one in situ on my 996 which flickers, I have suspected for a while that the one off my 996Bip may be one off a SPS and designed to work with the pulse from a P8 ECU so I removed it off my bike and handed it to Dallas along with another Tacho I had sat in my spares box so he could take them away and try them. Refitted the fairing to the 996 and locked up the garage.

oh look moto GP is just starting
I'm off to watch

May be an ugly bike but it will never be as iconic as the 916 .
