If you get bored I'm racing at Mallory that same weekend. It's only 30 minutes away. Come down and watch 6 hours of non-stop racing on Sunday afternoon ;)

Plenty of track time for your buck though.

Here's the schedule:

http://www.hottrax-motorsport.co.uk/...CHEDULE-V3.pdf

Basically...

9.30-10.25am - Qualifying and Practice All Classes

11am-2pm - Racing

2pm -2.45pm Lunch

2.45pm-5.45pm - Racing

Entries don't close until March 10th, and after that tickets etc will be posted. If you're a certain arrival, I might be able to put one away for you!

Anyway, won't hijack this DD thread anymore. Will post some new specific threads next week.

Thundersport are at Mallory soon for first CB500 race. They have an amazing 40 bikes on the grid and not all are registered yet (inc me), they may make 48 and have 2 grids. WTF? Gobsmacked from where it was with New Era where it was a handful and mixed grids it's astonishing.

Friday: 1 x 20min Qualify
Friday: 1 x 25min Qualify

Saturday: 1 x 10min warm up
Saturday: 1 x 10lap race (each)
Saturday: 1 x 10lap race (each)

Sunday: 1 x 10min warm up
Sunday: 1 x 10lap race (each)
Sunday: 1 x 10lap race (each)

Now that's proper value for money

Friday Qualify, not ideal for many and certainly goes against the initial thinking behind DD,
But has been said before there are many forms of racing out there, many with different formats and costs, nobody is forced to go racing so when you do decide to go racing choose the form that suits you and get on and do it.
But try not letit get you into serious debt which ever you choose
