Sprocket??? I thought that was the dog in Fraggle Rock!!

Is it the spikey round thing the metal drive belt goes round?

I've got a choice of 14 or 15 front with a 40 something on the back, will try both if I can be ar*ed swapping them between sessions.

That's assuming I go, mum's been taken into hospital and if I can get a refund I'll be ducking out of this one. :( If not I'll be there on fast return standby and possibly not with my head in the right frame of mind, mum's told me not to be a d*ck head an waste over £200. :o

The 1.5km swim is a different story, so far I can only manage 16 lengths of the pool (400m) before I start struggling with my breathing and become exhausted. I am booked in for a couple of lessons which I hope will help me out because I figure it will be a lot harder in the Thames dodging beer cans and nappies!

Ditto on the big respec dude but be careful in the Thames as it's getting cleaner nowadays. There could be a hungry stray Nobby Clark about!

From what I have heard it is being elbowed/thumped/dunked/grabbed by the other competitors which is hardest to deal with.

good luck with whatever you decide to do. We will still be there to welcome you at Pembrey if you don't make Snett. Hope everything works out.

Mallory is 1.4 miles and a 1.04 is respectable. So with a 3 mile track and a tight hairpin and far more bends, it is certainly going to be well into the 2 mins bracket. IMHO. :D

Do you mean mid 2 20's or are you just feeling very fast right now?

bradders 14-Jun-2011 20:16
