Yes flanker - it's a Union Jack if flown from a ship ("Jack" being the name for a small flag found at the rear of a vessel) BUT the term has passed into common useage so either is correct. :P

That hadn't occurred to me. Frankly, though, my passengers know better than not to hold tight. Especially at starting lines, I'm sorry, traffic lights, lined up with other bikes. Especially in London! My daughter gave me a right B****kin' for 'forgetting' she was on the back when racin' a courrier. I told her, if she wasn't such a good pillion, I wouldn't have forgotten she was on there. NOW, I just know I'm gonna be hearing from CK about what an irresponsible mother I am! Don't bother, CK.
