Linkin Park, Puddle of Mud, Nickleback, Avril Laveigne, The Calling, Simple Minds and Led Zep completes the cd's in the car today, along with of course The Tweenies live in concert and Lilo & Stitch. The kids also sing along to Bon Jovi and Savage Garden (but at 5 and 2 1/2 don't want them singing some of the words from Nickleback or Puddle of Mud!) |

hmm ........... hi-fi, I used to be quite into separates, at the entry level: Nad & Marantz Amps Marantz CD Kef Speakers Dual Turntable Now though, I've gone for something that retains some quality but is smaller and fits in better in my living room: Teac 300 reference mini separates (CD, CD recorder, DVD, Minidisc, Amp) Blue Room Minipod speakers and an Audio Technica Soundburger to play the vinyl on. Had "Since You Been Gone" on 7" cranked up the other day. I've got to say though, I was more of a punk boy in my youth! |

In the car folks Best of rock juke box, a great mixture including Bachman Turner Over Drive, Sabbath, Freddie Mercury and loadsa others Fleet Mac's Rumours, for me one of the best all time greats and Mr Knopfler and co doin Tobacco Road plus some Lenny Kravvitz, Goin my own way, and now Im really into the Manics...........brill at home some Jon and Vangelis some Also Spracht Zarathustra (aka 2001 a space odyssy) the Dire Straights album, Dire straights , Sultans of swing Go your own way for Fleetymac but best of all fer me is Bob Seger and the Siver Bullet Band doin Hollywood Nights rgdest mort in a wannaplay all me (blooo) music at the same time mort |
