psychlist 16-Jun-2005 22:03

Quite happy for them to strip and rebuild my engine for me, may be needing some new piston rings after Snett anyway :o

domski 16-Jun-2005 22:08

They'll strip it, but hand it back in bits!!

Don't expect anyone to rebuild it for you :o

AK 16-Jun-2005 22:55

ooh, you mean if I can persuade AK that we should stay on for the sat nite, he could earn some money rebuilding engines:puzzled:

Yep I'm known for entering a undersized engine.
Wouldn't mind having my bike weighed see to see how over weight it is.

Could start checking for bolts that aren't equal to or exceed the strength of the standard fastener it is replacing. And as Ti is also ruled out, the rule bars alloy fittings, so I suspect most bikes will be over weight.

So how many would a complete check catch.

Wonder if my brass pipe fittings used as spacers for the rearsets will cause a problem :puzzled: :D

I seem to be picking up some hints that some of the bikes might not be within the rules here. I would remind people that if they have suspicions then they should lodge a formal protest and I will get my camping chair out and watch the owner strip it as far as I think necessary whilst drinking a nice cold beer.

The 25th is going to be a very long day for me and I am sure that I will be well aggravated by about 15.00, so a nice bit of entertainment would go down nicely. Then again we could start the strip down at 16.45 with the race due to start at 17.20, that sounds like a ripping wheeze!

Any one for a glass of Pimms?

Chris
