Still here. Seems the registrar wants to check the latest x rays. No one can find him though! May have to be in for another night. My PMI pays me #50 for every night I'm in an NHS hospital so I can't grubble I suppose. |
Consultant too busy to look at x-rays. Looks like another weekend in here. Been waiting since Thursday morning for them to be looked at. What a waste of resources when I could be sat at home.:flame: |
Good news! I was released at 5pm this evening. Sat at home for the first time in over 3 weeks. Bit tired. Hard work starts now. Thanks for all your kind thoughts and please take care out there. |
Great news Stu Glad your at home  Sorry I did not get in to see ya but I have been very busy in work (63 hours in 5.5 days) If you need anything give us a shout |
So, have you started the re- build yet? Best wishes for a speedy recovery.;) |
Apparantly only thing left is the dash and number plate. Obviously not seen it myself. Have to wait for insurance to sort things out. |
Stu Sorry to hear of this, just picked up this thread - glad to hear you are on the mend. Take it easy fella and GWS Tim |
OMG!!! :o :( :( I just saw this now. I'm truly sorry for what happend to you. I had an accident in November 2004 and also broke my femur (besides my right fist) and they also inserted a stell bar inside the femur from the hip to the knee. Just last moday i did the last surgery to take the stell bar off and i'm still having to use cruthes. It seems that unfortunatly we suffered similar injuries, so if you need any help or want to talk about it, feel free to u2u me. Hang in there and heal up quickly :) |
Stu can you remember what happened m8? Good to see your on the mend. GWS /ian |
