I haven't because if they cost £500 to get done they can't be worth it. If i was spending money on my forks, which I'm not other than that already spent on single rate Ohlins springs, I would be talking to Maxton. Ron always worked wonders with re-drilling the damper rods in the early CBR600FM - FR forks |
We havent either. One set done at Maxton, the other done by AK:) |

Not sure anyone did ??? Last year was the same for all of us - speculation as to what would and wouldn't work - some spent more some spent less. Some bikes out there literally went out as almost standard other than required acu regs. Some take it more seriously than others but on the whole we all went out on our ''debut'' monsters/600's not really knowing what to expect . I think we all had a bit of fun doing it though ;) [Edited on 15-12-2005 by phoenix n max] |
I think I spent a fair bit of time on the front end this year - with the help of Neil Spalding. We did springs, oil, air gap, and a few other things which you really need to speak to Neil about if you're curious. We also played with fork position in the yokes and other geometry stuff. We didn't go down the cartridge route though. |
yeah but didnt you fall off? ;) |
