I'm gonna run the beast on track again next year, then think about the 1200R when it's anounced. |
Waiting for the R I agree with Yeti, am going to keep my 999s until 2008 and then consider the R. Although should i be passing P&H and happen to ride an 1098S and really like it..... |

I had an S on order, but after seeing the RR in the flesh this weekind, I have cancelled my order and ordered the RR instead (the joys of been single!). This bike is SICK! Total bike porn! Life is to short and what the hell, its only money and I've studied and worked my balls off to earn it! |

In terms of looks I think the RR is in a class of its own. The 1098 looks better in the flesh than in the photos, but then I didn't think much of it in the photos. I like it enough to buy one, or the 850 ish version when it comes out, but having said that its design is nowhere near as radical as the 916 or 999 and in comparison its a bit of a cop out. Ducati have played safe, but maybe you cant blame them. The Hypermotard is a fantastic piece of design!! |

Mine is about to start throwing kitchen hardware. I've just ordered one...... I'm a f@cking deadman. Only 4 months till delivery and I'm gonna have to do some serious carpet licking till then. God help me |
4 MONTHS? What model have you ordered? As far as I have been told by my dealer and Ducati UK, S bike will be here early Jan, standard models end jan/early feb and Tricolour in June. Maybe you're just waiting for the sunshine and an 07 reg plate? makes sense. |

You're a braver man than me! I wouldn't have done that when I was married! The bike certainly looks tasty enough though ... yum! |
