Seemed agood idea at the time, but in reflection it seems a bit naf whe you have to introduce yourself. But it is less offensive than some names I have been given. |

Cos it's my name and I though it'd be easier at meets or on the phone. Bit embarrasing when someone phones you up and has to ask the wife, "Can I speak to Bandylegs?" or some such. Rgds, Rob |

Bit obvious mine really, it's been passed down through the generations-in fact it's a heirloom. I have had others-Mad John when I were a bit younger like and we used to race from one coffee bar to another, I got called Wes for a bit when I was an apprentice after a Jaz Saxophonist called Wes Montgomery. To my mates dad I was little Fred-my mate Andy had 4 friends all called John-so his dad called us all Fred to save confusion..............there was Big Fred, Uncle Fred, Red Fred, and me-it made sense at the time.
