In hindsight perhaps I was a bit abrupt - I'm just jealous. I want one - a lot. :saint: |
Jon\'s right .. .. imported from Japan however confirmed by DUK. I'm having her dynoed to prove full power. Spent most of her days in a Geisha house apparently. Isn't there something ironic about a Japanese inport that isn't an IL4 ? Jon also mentioned the lower fairing vents being painted rather than exposed carbonfibre - check out the pictures from the launch report: http://venus.13x.com/roadracingworld...y01/ducati.htm [Edited on 14-5-2005 by Henners] |
Congratualtions Henners, i bet you're a very happy man tonight:D |

As per Dibble's earlier post, I was fortunate enough to pick up Chris Webb's bike , No 315, and what can I say, drop dead gorgeous doesn't even start to do it justice. I started lusting after Ducatis when the Desmo 250 was getting tested against Honda 250 G5s and the like, and when Dave turned up with his original 916 in 1998, I started putting all my shrapnel in a big fcuk-off bottle. After about 6 years I had about £112, so I went for plan b and remortgaged the house. The bike will be seen circulating in a sedate and dignified (ie slow) manner during a number of southern-based track days! |
