A couple more entrants and there'll be a battle for 9th place in the races!

That is what it is all about... keep the interest up throughout the field.

Top Job Neal. Let me know if you need any help with it.

I was actually going to opt out as I thought it was based on championship points and that I would be a bit hard to catch. However, after looking at the board I am now chowing down on a particularly tasty slice of humble pie!
Due to my overdeveloped competition node in my brain there is absolutely no chance that I will opt out now Im in 2nd!

It is a shame that a lot of this years novices have not been able to make it to many rounds. Perhaps it would be better that for the novice championship the winner is based on 4 dropped races rather than 2?

Looking at the board there is already quite a gap so if it was based on 4 dropped then everyone that has scored so far would only be seperated by 4 points, which is a relatively level starting point and this might encorage others to be at more rounds? (Sorry I am saying "them", there are lots of folk I havent properly met in the paddock yet).

You might be right, think I might have to stay for the Sunday races and see if I cant part you from the big cup. :p

Also Phil will be 2 points off me rather than 4 with 2 dropped. So if anything it should be something you would approve, no?

The table has only just been started really so wouldnt it be better to get as many peeps level as possible? It is clearly only a disadvantage to me... I am trying to get everyone on the board interested.

I have "stickied" this thread so it stays at the top.

some competition would be nice :p

mind you those long straights at Snett will be interesting, I'll have to get down the wind tunnel next week!! you'll be needing those bling brakes of yours to get past me if I manage to keep everything together ;) coz I wont be braking!!!

Is it worth a new thread just with the table and approriate title that only Neal/WT can amend?
