I do now the other site has shut down. DOH! |
regarding your fuel connectors. Triumph do them. Reasonably priced as I recall. Might have a couple somewhere. In my experience it is the gromit that breaks not the male connector or the female connector (typical) |

In the crash the tank ripped off and snapped them. Nightmare |
Well i got another load of bits from Ducati Leeds which i hope will just about get the bike done. ![]() The starter relay was fooked before the crash and sitting for five years hasn't helped. The new one looks just the ticket. ![]() Also got the new quick release fuel fixings from Tom Parker. Had a nightmare getting the "right ones" These will do the trick though. ![]() I decided to treat myself to some frame bungs from ebay. Very happy with these ![]() ![]() I also picked up a screen. ![]() I even managed to get some oil and coolant in her and fired her up for a while. So far so good! Just some odd bits to do and then an mot. Paint will be done over winter. I just want to have a run out before the weather really turns. |
Like the fuel connectors, do you have the part numbers, price etc ??? Chris:burn: |

Hope you're sitting down mate :0) Female fittings cLCD100040V 1/4" BSPT with shut off valve - Viton seals £14.95 each + vat Male fittings cLCD230-06V 3/8" with shut off valve - Viton seals £15.76 each + vat Toal with postage to me was £79.64 which stung a bit but they'll never break. Plastic ones are half the cost. The thread in the tank is an NPT thread but CPC have never made fittings with an NPT thread and Viton seals. It seems that the BSPT thread is the same type but the sides are a constant width. The NPT threaded hole gets smaller as you screw in. I added some ptfe tape and wound them in tight. They seal fine so in not bothered. I'd rather know the seals wont give up. I got them here www.tom-parker.co.uk 01772 251405 |

Ah didn't even think to ask. Just wanted to get it on the road asap. |
I've been pottering over the last few details before MOT. Mostly just making sure every bolt is tight. Got some Ti rear hub pinch bolts. ![]() I got them because they wont rust. Each saves 20g so i'm sure i'll notice lol Just for fun i decided to lockwire the grips. I like the race bike look. ![]() I got a bit keen and ordered the full fairing kit in stainless steel from probolt. I've also got a couple of bits on order from QB carbon. |
