Idea\'s - Holiday in the sun?
 

I'm cruising the internet at the moment looking for good deals to spend two weeks in the sun. Not too fussed about location, it's more about having sunshine and the temp's to be over 20 degree's.

The whole family is going so thats me, my wife Ange, and the four kids aged 4 - 11. I've found one I really would like to do - Egypt in Taba Heights. Only it would cost £4800 for the 2 weeks (flights from Gatwick and half board) . I've only just stopped choking!

The biggest problem is that it has to be done during school holiday's so we would be leaving around Dec 17/18.

Any idea's? Remember, MUST be warm and cost around £2k - £3k - but not bloody £5k!!!

hrmm .. Dubai .. might start looking at that.

To be honest I haven't looked at holiday prices to go home but seeing as it takes so long to get there it kind of rules it out for me. Plus, I want to see more of the rest of the world before I go home and can't afford to go anywhere again :(

It's not a tan I'm after, it's warmth and the ability to go swimming and sit on a beach. I haven't done that since I left home and when you've grown up on the Gold Coast you kind of take it for granted that you can go to great beaches whenever you want.

I haven't been home for over 2.5 years and I need to go and sit on a beach .. I'm beach-sick!

Brazil? how's that this time of year?

Is Tim back yet? he was off to Jamaica wasn't he?
