I can concur that Dickie's stand is very, very nice and extremely well built as I borrowed it to use with the SS.

I would go for the Harris Stainless stands

I use a Abba superbike stand. With a DP front stand for a 749/999 if the front wheel needs to comes off.
Abba stand is a great bit of kit.

I use one purchased from the old Tecmoto, fits under the bottom yoke, very easy to use, you can still turn the bars since the cradle the lower yoke sits in is on a pivot. Very stable and easy 1 man operation, no need to remove the fairing to fit and cost about £140 I think.

I like the look of one of those. I've got one that goes into the holes in the bottom of the forks and it's a bit bent. I like the idea of lifting it up without taking the weight on the forks.

How much was that UD?

I use a Harris but had a problem with it and the RG fork bobbins, ended up having to remove the fork bobbins to use the stand. the stands great, works well and is easy to use.
