Scaring the sliders This must be the closest I have ever gotten to getting my knee down - my sliders must be getting scared! TP - Scaring the sliders Aptly put my Dickie on raceday "As fast as you're going you're still not getting your knee down are you" Err thanks Dickie, like I needed reminding. A 50.8 lap around the Woodlands, heaps of 51 second laps and still no knee down! :( |
Wat you doing this sunday?:lol::lol: |
Get your **** off the seat and you soon will!!!!;) |

It is! It's just a bit bigger than yours so there's plenty left over ;) Edited to add - but you're right Tim, I need to get right off. [Edited on 3-5-2005 by TP] |
keep it like that, TP.... the extra knee-down friction will slow you down! :frog: |
Purchase thicker sliders? |
tony, i'll swap you my worn out sliders for your extra 4mph round the circuit anyday. it really isnt big or clever. |
TP, if you don't get your bum off the seat, your in danger of doing what I did at rocky. My foot touched down first and got pulled offf the peg, followed by my leg, my ar$e, my body.:( [Edited on 3-5-2005 by Jon] |
what can we see here 1/More corner speed 2/Knee being used as reference point 3/Foot rolled on too the end of the peg not on it 4/Toe is also feeling for the black stuff for more control 5/Right hand shoulder and hip is further forward driving in to the turn. But he is big and clever?:lol::lol: |

I know what you mean, I was scraping my boot and certain times around the Old Hairpin and Barn. I am getting off the seat just not enough, I need to work on that. My body position was better in Spain I guess it kind of went out the window under race conditions - not enough of a habit yet. |
