first wheelie!! while having the SLOWEST!!!!!! ride ever to Poole on Tuesday, got a bit bored and thought 'cant be that hard, after all I have a 996....' so ease up to 30mph in first, throttle off and back on quick and BINGO up she comes!! Not as bad as I thought either, have experienced power wheelies (specially recently!!) and find them a bit scary...but meant ones seem ok. must practice now...on private road of course:saint: |
Hehehehehehehehehe. I was taught how to do wheelies this year; sitting back in the seat, short-shift into 2nd, wind the throttle wide open and when the power start to come on slip the clutch, release and up she comes....:frog: |
Good chap bradders! How many gears did you get through? |
Now you need to shorten your gearing right down Paul, then you can scare yourself with the greatest of ease :) |
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I know a few little hump back bridges you can come play "airplanes" on too Paul  |
Must have been that chain adjustment that Kev did for you:lol: Will expect a display on Saturday, won't be able to copy you as Sandra has a habit of falling off the back:( |
gears...come on, hardly there yet!! TP - got a 40t rear but not yet fitted, so that should make it even easier!! practice....practice.....practice..... |

Certainly should as it will also reduce the wheelbase |
ok for you peeps. on a 400 I've gotta lift it at 30 mph in first then straight into 2nd but only after 11k revs otherwise it drops. is fun tho. |
keep trying bradders, im gettign there 1 day theyre fine the next theyr ecrap but i'll get the hang of it one day, the sooner the better hopefully |
