top money saving tip.. always messing with bike (swopping over clutches etc) since having operation on foot in april and in plaster for nearly 5 months i put on nearly 3 stone in weight (not proud) good news is being so heavy i have absolutely no need for a slipper clutch.. been out several times with standard clutch fitted and cannot lock up the rear wheel (bike has to much momentum going forward with my fat dish on it)- no need for slipper.. not sure whether the short term financial benefits are worth the long term health problems associated with obesity !! to that end i have started a vigorous fitness drive (now i can walk)....................:lol::lol::lol: |

age you might have seen me at paignton bike night (i know jay and a few others did) riding before i could walk !!!!!!!!!!! i remember jay p*****g himself laughing as i approached bike on cruches, mate helping to dismantle and put in back pack as i "crawled " onto bike... besides its not might fault that everyone kept bringing me chocolate -- it would be rude not to eat it !!!:lol::lol::lol: [Edited on 15-10-2005 by chris999] |

mostly well wishers with gifts - feeling sorry for me.. being "grounded" affected my usual spending ability. apart from finding comfort on e bay i did not spend much money.. (nearly killed myself a couple of times trying to answer the door for the post man before he gave up):lol::lol: |
It's not fair, I'm fit but if I miss one meal I lose half a stone. I would love to be able to put weight on. |
