Front fairing mount on a monster anybody ?

I'd like to frame-mount a fairing on the monster.
Has anybody managed it without resorting to welding onto the frame ?

Tonio600 06-Dec-2005 23:44

I plan to do the same on mine, but I think the welding option is mandatory...

A little weld on the front is all we have done for both of ours.
Doesnt show as is hidden behind headlight when OTR

:)

Many years ago I owned a Rob North framed bike that I fitted a Dresda Barcelona endurance fairing to (twin headlight).

The front bracket came back to a semi circle plate that went round the head stock and was held in place with two large U bolts.

Never had any stability problems and saw over 150 on the clock in the Isle of man with that set up.

Possible solution?

Upper cowl stay, near the bottom of the page, bit pricey, but might be adaptable.
