making the championship more competitive
 

In british touring cars, to make the championship more competitive they sand bag the race winners so that it will be harder for them to win next time out. Does any one think it would work in this series.

P.S. its just an idea so no body jump on the high horse please. dont think i could take the critisim.

never like the idea of hadicaps in any competitive sport; although seems to be ok for golf; (if you can call it a sport)

if i beat someone i want it to be because i was better than them on the day not that i was gifted a place or win. would seem a shallow victory imho.

Not as completely lunatic as it sounds, but no. Some of the grid spend all their spare time and money on this, specifically to get close to the sharp end of the stick, and taking it away from them by piling a sand bag on the bike would be a serious slap across the chops.

If you want to win you need skill or balls, not a set of sympathetic rules...

Its ferkin competetive enough, Dominic it doesnt matter where you are in the field there are some blinding battles going on.

Sorry Dom, but we agree with Dickie, Ali & Glynn - hollow victories etc.

Winner carries Two bags of sand and One bag of cement :lol:
If they still win, make them stop and knock out a small ornamental garden wall at a convenient spot on the infield. :smug:

Going by last year Geoff should have a Japanese water garden features at each circuit by the end of the year.
