couchcommando 10-Jan-2006 20:54

Yes you can, are they too soft or is it the damping ?

Dominic Clegg 10-Jan-2006 20:56

couchcommando 10-Jan-2006 20:58

good idea run the bike in a few races then ill come back to you lot about things

Might be worth asking some suspension people - I'm sure they'll be able to give you an idea just over the phone.

If you're not sure what it's like now, then I would really recommend you at least get the forks and shock serviced before racing as they could all be knackered and that means dangerous.

well its going in for a full service at ducati leeds will they check the suspension or should i ask them to do it as well

Look up, K Tech.

They will do the front and rear bouncy bits, just of the M1 north of Nottingham I think from memory.

They did ours last year, refresh, oil seals and springs front and rear, about £200, talk them through what you want and your bike, weight, use etc...

VERY good service, hughly recommended.

Do Ducati Leeds have suspension experts? That's the question you should be asking yourself...

twpd 10-Jan-2006 21:18

Well if you specifically tell them you are racing the bike and that you want the suspension overhauling then I'm sure they will do it...at a price. They seem to be decent peeps with a good rep.
