i can't wait :)

how good/bad is his bike ?

revdecal 14-Feb-2006 14:19

A full factory spec GP bike! No customer parts, all factory. He will ride in Repsol colours with his own mechanics and transporter etc...
Essentially, he is in his own team run by Alberto Puig.

I've been invited to the Repsol opening launch night!!!!!! Can't wait!!

If his other seasons are anything to go by, he will start slow, maybe mid pack. Then he starts to hit the top ten and when he starts running with the front boys, he suddenly realises he can win. When that happens, he is always podium or race wins!!
Repsol are trying to instill into him the attitude that he 'belongs' on the grid at the moment.

Obviously these are his heros, but he has a very level head on his shoulders so he'll be fine.

Fantastic opportunity for him, seems strange to think that 2 seasons ago i was watching him take his 1st Aprilia Supercup win.:D

He's so young looking - what a find. He's won at Valencia & Jerez - I'll be watching. Let's hope Julian and Toby make the most of it as well on Eurosport.

Good luck to the lad - it'll be great to watch.

He doesn't look old enough to be in senior school, let alone GPs!!!

;)

Christ, he looks like he's 12, and butter would not melt in his mouth!

Just don't go anywhere near him on a bike...once he's got that helmet on....

What a fabulous opportunity for the guy, I really hope he fulfills his potential and impresses 'management'.

Can you imagine the pressure on and off the bike for one so young?

At the moment he really is a lovely lad, very level headed and extremely determined.
He is determined by his actions though, not his mouth, which is nice to see for a young lad. Cycles 200miles a week, gym 5 times a week....really wants it!:D

Your right though, once that helmet goes on, you had better not get near him on the track. You only have to watch how close these 125 riders race to take your hat off to them.

Amazing schedule for him, travelling the world. Just think, he's 1st race will be in front of nearly 200,000 fans!!!

WeeJohn, could you give me your address, we are buying a lovely new (HUGE) digital printer and wanted to send you some freebies for Focused events.

cheers
Ryan
