Termi bhp

Hi guys
thinking of termis for '05 749 bi-p but not sure what power differences there are between asymetric and the full system. [Thinking of just using the DP ecu that comes with]. Any of you know what they are and if the full monty is way better than the other. Sorry if this has been murdered many times before!!

Not a lot of difference matey - I'd only bother with a full system if you're after every little spec of horse power available and you're doing other tuning.

Standard bike? Just get the assymetric system.

Duc Daz - you reckon save the money eh? Been offered the whole thing for 1130 pounds as against about 1000 for the asy... Anyway I quite like my 749 actually despite the hideous drubbing it took in MCN this week - but what do they know?!!!!
Cheers

my mates have 749,s they love em.if your happy with yours thats all that matters mate

Yep, I love my 749 too. You have to watch who the writer is on the MCN articles. The supersports feature was written by Trevor Franklin, and he's a dedicated Jap IL4 fan. Any Duke he rides he slates.

What did they say about it,as i have been away and missed last weeks issue? Just got a 749 in black and love it to bits. Makes the Monster seem prehistoric!

Twinfan 16-Apr-2006 21:25

They said it was a barge to turn and too slow. They only thing they liked was that it was stable in fast sweepers. They said it wasn't nimble enough and lacked power.

Journos eh?
