Might still be a bit tight then. Some bikes seem more prone than others. If it happens quite a bit, get it checked. You don't want an accident because of it.

KeefyB 23-Apr-2006 19:18

Yeah,they do that sometimes.
The injection does need setting up carefully.

DaveO749R 23-Apr-2006 19:55

Please don't start me on this one grrrrrrrrrrr my 749R has again just been transported back to the supplying dealer after months of trying to sort it out.

It was returned to me mid jan after nearly 3 months away only to be worse than it was when it went away.

I have had to employed a solicitor to ensure this is resolved fairly I'm hoping to discuss and agree a resolution next week when they have looked at the bike again but I have lost faith and want to reject the bike on the ground of unfit for purpose.

Everybody on hear has suggested a fix but trust me my bike todate has had all the fixes without success.

Regards

Sounds normal to me. Tell Ducati and they should check the ECU air fuel mix. Mine did the same until the first service

duc daz 23-Apr-2006 20:06

ive just had termis put on and the race ecu.im getting back fire as well in first gear roll on roll

Cam timing and CO2 needs checking/setting up IMHO.
