Fitting a bellypan

Hello

I need some advice, the bellypan in the picture (sorry not very good) has a lug (B) which will match up with (A) But on the other side (sidestand)

(A) has no thread or purpose that I can see although lines up with (B)

so how do I secure the bellypan?:o

I know what I mean:lol:

Steve there is a bracket that comes off the rear brake mastercylinder.
I have just had a few made in stainless along with brackets for the other side that bolt on near the sidestand

Hello Skidlids

The hole at (A) goes all the way through the engine with no treads

If you have one spare, would be most helpful.

I maybe at devil for midday, but I know you are on shift work.

I can wait and PayPal you if you prefer?

Hi, if its any help i had this problem on a Honda a few years ago. The kit had a bolt that runs the length of the engine and connects with a bracket on the other side. If all else fails you could buy a bolt and fix through the belly pan (assuming theres a bracket on the other side?)

You can just make out the bracket coming off the rear Mastercylinder in this pic http://www.sigmaperformance.com/748rs00no9big.jpg

And the otherside http://www.sigmaperformance.com/748rs00no7big.jpg

Hello Skids

Thanks for the pics, looking at them I see the v piece sits infront of the bellypan, which would give more room to align with your bracket, however my bellypan sits behind the v piece so I need to align here see pic, as Chief RB was saying, I guess I could still use the bracket, will have a think and get back to you.

Steve
This might help, here are a couple of close up pics of either side of my bellypan brackets.

Hello Karl

I think they would do just the job, did you make the brackets up yourself?
I am trying to fit the bloody nose cone, which as you will see is way out
with the side panels.:)
