DD Questionnaire - Your questions please!

Further to the RC email regarding a questionnarie, what questions would you like to be asked about in the DD questionnaire?

I've been through a couple threads to pick some out e.g.
  • Would you prefer the machine rules to remain unchanged? Yes/No
  • Would you like to exclude 695cc machines in 2007? yes/no
  • How many (UK) rounds would you prefer in 2007? 6 or 7
  • Which month would you prefer to start in? March or April
  • If we race at Assen, would you prefer it to be points or non-points?
  • How many scoring races to count? All points to count/drop 1 race/drop 2 races
  • How would you like the series to be administered? 1 dedicated person/A committee as per 2006
  • Would you like to have rider reps? yes/no
  • Would you like a long race? yes/no
  • Would you like to remove the rule which requires the top 3 to move out of Class B? yes/no

There's a few to start.

Let's keep this positive, this is our chance to get the right questions asked.

Which questions would you like to be asked?

agree this is a good idea but why dont we just have a 10 minute meeting at donny where the riders reps can note down and collate all the ideas. cant really see there being many contentious issues. some may like a few more/less meetings, races dropped or not but these are not crucial to anyone joining or leaving the series.

Theres not many people doing Donny though isn't there? Wouldn't Cadwell Trackattack be a better idea?

You've all been asked to send me your comments/thoughts and ALL will be considered when I compile the questionnaire.

It's always going to be difficult at race meetings Dickie, people beforehand have the racing in mind and are usually cream crackered afterwards. There is nothing to stop you doing that if you choose to but I need the input early next week.

I'm adding "would you like top 3 in 620 to be allowed to compete again in 620 in the following season but must do so on a 583"

Just kidding before the flame throwers all get lit ;-)))

no, no, i like it lets put it in!

The thing is, you can ask any questions you like in the questionnaire - even Paul's joke one, or What's your favorite cheese?

It doesn't matter. There are no right or wrong questions.

It's up to the riders to give the answers, and ultimately shape the series. Simple.

Not being drawn on that one.

Can't be fairer than to consider all the email replies when putting the questionnaire together so once you've all decided what you want to suggest just send it as outlined in my email which you should all have received. Most of what you've got here is in already.

Over and out ;-))
