Got nicked Speeding,Solicitor needed.....
 

Mate got nicked doing 125 mph in a car,,on a 70,in Essex by Essex Plod.
Anyone recomend a good solicitor??

Call your solicitor and ask them. They should have a solicitor's "Yellow Pages" and be able to give you a list of solicitors in the Essex area.

Then phone around these and explain your situation and get someone who specialises in traffic. They may even recommend someone else.

A good solicitor with local knowledge will be able to give you a reasonable estimate of what to expect.

You really need *local* representation as there's nothing better than a solicitor who knows the beak and how to play them...

It might be cheaper in the long run just to take the medicine.

he knows he will get a ban,, he just wants the best deal he can get, and needs rep,, When i got done i ended up with a spotty trainee that whispered in CT, I could of done better,, just trying to advoid that,, he got nick with a laser and was caught by the car, i think,.

Got first hand knowledge on this one, unless they have changed the law recently the way to go is to deny they were driving and say they cannot name for sure who was. They will be prosecutrd for withholding evidence which carries three points and an average £250.00, better than a ban.
Three lads I ride with have all gone this route when caught at high speeds over the last couple of years and all got off the ban.

I would be very carefull about lying! Especially if as it says he was stopped by a car after the camera.

There is clearly an identification issue here, and i suspect he's knackered.

125 in 79 hmmm, might even be a small custodial......
