50mm Termi\'s or Slipper Clutch???

Ok, quarterly commission coming soon, and not sure what to spend it on for my 748 it's a choice between

50mm half system (Carbon or Ti, tbd )

or

Slipper Clutch

Prices are about the same, so what's the concencus of opinion on which to have first. 853 upgrade booked for the winter, so we're on smaller jobs first.

Would buy both, but Mrs S know's how much commision I'm on :( and expects most of it to be spent on family stuff.

termi's first. purely for the look and the sound.

slipper close second though.

Neither...get an STM QD Sprocket Carrier + a selection of sprockets (39/40/41/42), FIM Chip, Lightened Flywheel and set up your suspension. That should cost about the same and will sort the bike out a treat....:eureka:

Was going to say cans but if you've already got some termi's then go for the slipper. But I personaly think they're a bit overkill for the road.

Sort the suspension out for your weight/riding style & race school
As you already have the termis & the Slipper was developed for the TRACK !

Suspension setup already booked @ MH Racing next weekend

FIM Chip, filters etc already fitted and dyno'd (853 coming soon)

Done CSS, and Advanced road riding courses, just applying them all's the challenge.

Lightened flywheel makes a 748 even more revvy, but could be fitted at the same time as a slipper for no additional labour. Will consider.

Sprockets etc, not exactly condusive to just getting on an riding it. I like the way it's geared right now. In fact a royal pita for a road bike.

If the slippers for the track, can you please tell my bike to stop locking the rear on entry to some bends on the road then ... ;)
