DUCATI OFFICIAL RECALL

You lot may or may not have heard - BUT - here in Switzerland we've been told about a DEFECTIVE OIL COOLER on the following models:

749 - 749S ZDMH500AA2B000001 to ZDMH500AC3B003956
ZDMH1UB3S03B000627 to ZDM1B3SX3B002854

999 - 999S - 999R ZDMH400AA2B000001 to ZDMH400A3B007801

999R FILA ZDM1UB5TO3B000584

All are subject to an official factory recall.

Hope this info helps.

Ditto for me. Nothing needed doing.

Caution those who say nothing needs doing.
From dealers mouth:
"further to the check and replace, the oil coolers are now to be 'Blanket replacement'."
AFTER the dealers checking, I believe stickers were sent out so that the mechanic can put sticker on those bikes that have had the oil cooler changed. So look for the sticker. Don't know what it looks like cos I ain't got mine yet. My oil cooler got changed at about 500 miles after it did spew its contents. Dealer is checking whether I still need to change or just need sticker.
Also...749 comment on this board refers to new brake lines as well for the 749. how many others seen it?:puzzled:

Cheers, Alan. I'll be checking my oil cooler (again) with my dealer in the morning.

My dealer confirmed this morning - no official recall by Ducati, or work required, for Toyo oil cooler on 749/999.
The KTM type is being replaced and stickered, as discussed above.

marksduc748 checked and confirmed he's had new brake lines at same time as oil cooler.
Anyone else had this?If so, is it to be another recall item?:sniff:
