Been down 3x way then mate?

Jools 08-Sep-2004 18:19

Good grief...how much do I want a shiny black 999S (or 749 with a glossy black paint job come to that), oh... and white number boards on nose and tail please!

Right....it's Wednesday, so here's my plan. I'm just off down the shop to buy a fivers worth of tickets, then I'm going to spend all evening on my knees praying to the lottery gods.

:rodent::"daft bugger"

Mark 08-Sep-2004 20:31

:rodent: You know is talking sense..........

Tell you what Jools, if you win the Lottery tonight, i will sit for hours and "Make" my dark as glossy as you want for the right price.....

I asked the domestic chief of staff about a 2005 999 in black today.........yes that conversation went well:mad:

what can i bribe her with...i have already had to buy her decking and new sofa for the 749 dark...........Don't you just love "Domestic invoices";)

nathanhu 08-Sep-2004 21:51

do what i did, get her plastered, say the right things , touch the right places!!!!!!:frog::frog: for eg........
where there“s a will there“s a way

just a quick one then, are all the 999 engines short stroke for next year?????

dave w 08-Sep-2004 23:00

They reckon the best just got better.....all them bods with 2004 R must be kicking themselves !!

nathanhu 08-Sep-2004 23:12

dave,
my thoughts aswell .
a mate of mine bought a 2004 r in august........get the matches out.....

it looks like the 999s 2005 is a 2004r without the carbon parts .......ideal track bike for next year then.......hopefuly not too much of a price increase though

dave w 09-Sep-2004 00:13

Nathan.... the new 2005 999s.will go back up to £14995 The new R will be around £19995 the same as 2004 model...... but more yummy bits and more ponies !! No doubt there will be some good deals to be had.

nathanhu 09-Sep-2004 09:52

dave ,
over here the 999s costs about 1200-1500 euros cheaper than that so im going to ask a few questioms at my local dealer today and get the new price list
if i get it ill stick it up , just for interest :)

Jools 09-Sep-2004 10:36

Well, all that praying to the lottery gods paid off last night and I had a winning ticket. :D

But, as you can see from the posts above, the 2005 999S costs more than £10 :(
