More Gratuitous 851 pics.....

I have just completed the conversion from DS to Single seat, which even with an SP subframe was not a simple task, since I did not want to keep the stock rear mudguard.

A few pics to see what you think.
1)How the rear end should have been on the road bikes.

2) AP disk caliper upgrade, which is excellent.

3) my grey suede seat design and recovering.

4) overall pic of bike.

Looks superb! I never liked the 916 as much, is it just me?

Mind you, I was still riding Vespas when Luchinelli was doing his thing in BoT- 12bhp and 10" wheels were never the same after that...

Looks good mate.;)

Redsps 30-Oct-2004 23:31

I've slimmed down the rear end even more now, and fitted some smaller blikers, and plate holder.
looks so much better than that ugly black job and jumbo blinkers that are standard, just need to get my custom CNC rearsets fitted next week and things will be just fine.
The 916sps engine is allmost ready for fitting now, but may have to wait until end of nov now.
will upload updated pics shortly(I hope).
Looking forward to snetters on monday now.
cheers
robin
