NBs996 23-Oct-2004 15:13

Quality, chris!
I'd've made it a bit shorter tho, so the indy's are tucked in a bit.
I reckon you could knock a few of them out....

Road Runner 23-Oct-2004 15:20

Nice job mate shame we have to use those big chunky indicators not seen any of the aftermarket ones I like ?

Chrisiball 23-Oct-2004 15:43

damn nice machine-work on the bracket, and top repairs on the bike... seems like you got yourself a bargain kidda.

i got me an evoluzione number plate bracket, seems very similar to yours, but then i'm not capable of making such an item. good work fella. i'm sure there may be a few peeps on this site who would be interested...

oh yeah, keep us posted on discrete indicators, i too have been struggling to find anything dead cool.

magpie.

marksduc748 24-Oct-2004 01:09

nice tidy job fella and you should be proud of yourself. its always nice to see a bike brought back from the dead. keep up the good work. :)

The bike

I picked the bike up from Aldershot, yeah it was in collision with another bike on a magazine shoot, if you have anymore info on it id love to know

I have fitted the kellermann micro 1000 indicators. for some reason the system will not let me upload a picture so u2u me if you would like pictures.

Bought the set of four from www.carbonworld.de

Quick delivery from Germany, my set (on a 748) needed the kellermann resistors to get the flash rate right, fitted a set to a 998 and did not require resistors.

The indicators are bright and E marked TUV approved etc the rear set are fitted with the carbon bracket that mounts behind the reflector

I think that they tidy the rear end nicely

Old Yella 26-Oct-2004 22:27

My old 996 set up and I have the same on my 998 now.
