Just wanted to say Gws to all the guys who are suffering from offs at Trac Mon this weekend. Esp Matt who is in Ysbty Gwynedd ( Bangor Hospital ) and will be for a few more days. I'm planning on popping down to see him this eve so will keep you updated. Gws to Paul and Bradders too.

Keep us informed after you have visited matt please fella.

How's your injuries Bradders?

Comfy sat on the sofa I've been sat/lay on since I got home Sun night. Can't move anywhere :( can't even get around the house

Hoping a few more days and my sprained knee will be able to take a bit of weight (I know I shouldn't) so I can use the frame to at least get to the bathroom!!

But....after being in A&E and seeing poelp come and go with Heath attacks etc you feel a kinda fraud just having bashed up shoulder, chest and arm and a knee that doesn't work and a few bones broken in my foot; hardly life threatening

Nurses were great tho :D

And how's your bike?

Not seen it, told its ok and easy repair. If I cold have ridden I would have been out sun so not that bad :D

Firstly I wish Matt a speedy recovery and also all the other (too many)casualties from this weekend.
Personally I was very nervous of the conditions and was amazed to get the results I did,Many lads in the paddock who race other classes said we must be barmy riding on those tyres, but its a level all be it flooded playing field I suppose
Looking forward to Oulton and a full grid of sufficiently mended racing buddies

Just been to Conway ward in YG to visit my friend Matt Lawson who had a bad off at Trac Mon on Sunday. He is seriously one lucky guy, his crash was bascially a massive aquaplane in top gear going up to rocket 1. He went onto the grass and had to jump off at 100mph +. He has two unstable spinal vertrabae and was initially told he could go home! On further examination he was told to stay, re xrayed and the injury pin pointed. He is now flat on his back and waiting for a spinal brace to be fitted. Very lucky he didn't go home, I'm sure you can work out what could have happened, if he did would could have proven serious. GWS Matt. He wishes Paul and Bradders all the best with thier injuires and speedy recoveries.

Matt didn't say, but thats one awful call to get wrong, and the implications are life changing.

I was rolling the grip back up there as it was aquaplaning, Matt must have kept it pinned. Thinking of you buddy, GWS. Thanks for the update Si. :eek:

After just recovering from a broken Tib and Fib back in January, i would like to echo the GWS to all those who have fallen at Anglesey. Things will get better and I wish you all a speedy and uncomplicated recovery. What's more, if you live locally, I'm happy to come over and keep the bike ticking over while you convalesce!

Bloody hell guys, we leave you to play on you're own and look what happens. Genuinely shocked at the news of all the offs. Seen that Bradders is bashed up and Matt looks even more serious. How's PP? Not seen an update?

Paul Payne was walking about, but ribs badly thumped, he was hurting and may get a bit worse before starting to get better. But a bit of a southern softie :D

I got off (well, was knocked off) lightly compared to the rest.
Concussed, but didn't realise until I was told :eek: , a couple of possibly cracked ribs and am getting my leg checked out tomorrow as it still hurts but there is no bruising only a bit of swelling, so I may have cracked something there too.
Will give Oulton a miss but aim to be back at Cadwell as so far I've qualified 4th, 3rd, then 2nd......... :ninja:

PS I'm not the one that needs a big soft b0ll0ck cushion on their tank............soft southerners indeed!

PMSL. GWS Paul Cadwell can be a bit shoulder to shoulder too. :eek:

Hope you're alright Paul, maybe not as much knocked off as hit the blockade that was my bike in middle of the track :( but a catapult flinger like mine from what I heard

If this cast is off and the leathers go on I'm on it for cadwell ;) reckon I may go quite well there for a change....
