How many pictures! I know race bike has them, and it does finish wheels off. Tart. [Edited on 11-11-2004 by flanker] |
I think it looks much better with the wheel stripes on. It matches the rest of the bike that way |
yes, with for me. not a great fan of race reps. but it does look the nuts. very tasty. |
Dave - not sure about the stripes .... the decking needs a coat of preservative though  |
Stripes. |
Thanks for all your comments.....your pleased to know there here to stay.... if there good enough for Mr Toseland there good enough for me :P:P:P:P:P |
stripes, - and put some on that witches broom in the corner of the room whilst you are at it ;) |
Stripes, bike looks the mutts nuts. |
I like the white stripes , great sound they make. Also - Dave what make are those rear sets ? I need a pair. |
Keep the stripes! |
Keep them as they were made.:D |
I like them, Dave how did you do them? I put yellow stripes on my black wheels a few years back using 1/4 inch pinstripe tape that was used for stripes on cars worked really well and was on for atleast 2 years nad never came of even riding through winter. |
Lee....much the same way but only used 5mm white.... got it from my local printing shop....not to sure how long it will stay on for :) |

Darren the rearsets are DP one's....shop around for a good price and then haggle !! |
Thanks Dave, I think mine stayed on so long because I cleaned the wheels with brake cleaner and took the wheels off to do it making sure it was pressed down really hard. yours looks so clean and I guess will not go out in the rain? Looking at yours might do my grey 748s as it has red wheels, and the original marachesini sitckers are lifting as they were not put on properly when new so dirt got under them, do the stripes and stickers at the same time:D |
Dave, I think the whole bike would look better in red. Rgds, Rob |
I like the stripes. It seems to broaden the field of vision when looking at the bike, rather than just being focused on the bodywork, if you get my drift. btw Dave, You weren't riding through Montreaux ealier this year were you? Saw a plain red 999 with reg *999 sbk.... just a belated thought! |
Not me mate......Not guilty me lord;).. it wasn't me !! Nice comment on the wheels me old chap:roll::bouncy: |
